Ahmedabad – Modhera - Ambaji Temple- Khedbrahma – Polo Forest

Pick From Ahmedabad Venue and start for Modhera (App. 100 Kms/ 03 Hrs). Modhera is famous for Sun Temple which was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev of the Solanki dynasty. The Modhera Sun Temple is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati, The Sun temple is well known for Its unique architecture. Start for Ambaji (App. 140 Kms/04 Hrs), Ambaji is one of the 51 Shakti Peeth’s of India and is an important temple town with millions of devotees visiting the Ambaji temple every year. The Hill of Gabber has also a small temple fortified from the western side and there are 999 steps to go up to the mountain and reach this holy temple at the top of Gabbar Hill. A Holy Lamp is constantly burning on this hill temple facing exactly in front of Visa Shree Yantra of Nij Mandir of Mata Shri Arasuri Ambica. After Darshan start for Polo Forest. (80Kms/1.5 Hrs). Polo Forest - Ahmedabad

After B/F checkout. At Polo Forest after monsoon, between September and December, the forest becomes lush. There are sloth bears, leopards, panthers, hyenas, waterfowls, raptors, passerines, four-horned antelopes, common civet, jungle cats, and flying squirrels. During winter, The forest attracts migratory birds during winter and wetland birds during monsoon.[3][2] The forest also has the endangered Grey Hornbill and Brown-headed Barbet.
